Banded Crickets ( 50 ct ) - Mixed Size
Banded Crickets :
Recommended temperature is 80-85 degrees, crickets are a source of protein and when gut loaded properly offer many other nutritional benefits to reptiles. When crickets arrive, empty them out into 18 gal. bin (Walmart $5.00) or for smaller amounts a large critter keep. Place the egg cartons in the bin that come inside your box of crickets add cricket food and slice of orange this will gut load them with Vitamin C.
Clean any dead crickets out of your bin daily. This will keep you crickets alive longer as they give off a gas that will kill the remaining crickets. Crickets have a 6 week live span from 1 week old (1/8 inch) to 6 week (large)

CARE SHEET
The easiest way to take care of our horn worms is to keep the cups upside-down on a ventilated surface at room temperature. Horn worms will grow quicker with warmth. Everyday empty their poop out of the cup, replace the lid and store them upside down. Once they've reached the desired size you want, you can store them in a cooler place about 55 degrees (a wine cooler works best). This will slow down their growth. Once they are out of food and are large, you can actually store them in the refrigerator for 2 more weeks.
Want to know the secret to this process?? Email us at lindasgonebuggie@yahoo.com once you have ordered.
Please note we ship our horn worms small because they will grow during shipping. Depending on the temperatures both outside and inside the box determines how much they will grow by the time you receive them. The picture above shows you the largest size they will be once they are grown to full size.
If you need a smaller size horn worm, please email us as we don't know your animal and will automatically send the normal size posted above.
