Meal Worms (Tenebrio Monitor or Regular Meal Worms) are farm raised, 1/2" - 1" worms. 250 Count. They are a great source of protein and a great food source for you animals.
Please Note:
We do not sell giant meal worms, as they are fed hormones not allowing them to pupate and instead they just continue to grow giving them their large size. In time of feeding them to your animals, it could be harmful to their health.
The easiest way to store our meal worms is in your refrigerator (40 degrees). In fact, meal worms are the only feeder insect that you can safely store in their worm food in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 weeks.
Note: We ship our meal worms with enough food to ship them to you. To store them longer, we do sell our worm food for $5 a bag on our website under bug food. This will help prolong their lifespan.

Meal worms are also the only meal worm you should store in the refrigerator. We pack our meal worms with food when we ship them to you. This feeds them and keeps them dry and cool for their journey during shipping. When you get them, you just place them in the bottom of the refrigerator in a plastic shoe box, only taking out what you need to feed. By doing this, it gives the worms a longer life span (up to 6-8 weeks) and by adding more of our own worm food to them, their life span can be increased. The best way to store meal worms is to keep them in a breathable bag in the refrigerator. They can be stored this way for a few months.
