Silk worms are a great feeder if you want to rehydrate and help fight metabolic bone disease. These worms are also a great food source for even your pickiest eaters. They are high in calcium, protein, and fat.
( *** Note that not all zebra strains are striped. This is a stronger strain with virtually no bacteria issues versus the white strain in recent years. *** )

Silk worms must be kept in a dry warm environment. For optimal growth, keep your silk worms at 75 to 80 degrees. Upon arrival, open the container and dump the silk worms out on to a paper towel in a small plastic box with no lid ( Roughly shoe box size is great for this. ) Having no lid is very important as it can become too warm with too much humidity, and the humidity will result in killing them faster than anything. This is why it is important to keep them dry.
Silk worms should also be fed and cleaned daily. If you are looking for rapid growth, feed them twice a day, both in morning and at night. You will also need to clean them twice a day in this case as well. Lastly, silk worms will eat a lot of food. If you buy our silk worms, we suggest that you also purchase their food while ordering as we only ship the silk worms with enough food to ship them to you.
